Sustainability and WWT
WWT Arundel Wetland Centre is part of the Wildfowl &
Wetlands Trust, the charity for wetlands and wildlife.
In a world full of challenges, we’re on a mission to
restore wetlands and unlock their power.
Because when wetlands thrive, so do we.
When working towards these goals, we have an impact.
We have a positive impact through our conservation
projects, our international influencing work and of course,
bringing people closer to wetland nature here in Arundel.
But, like other organisations, we impact the environment
through our energy and water use, staff and visitor travel,
and from the things we purchase, use, and
sell as a business.
WWT is committed to understanding and reducing
our negative environmental impacts, complying with
environmental legislation, and ensuring continuous
improvement in our environmental and social
performance and incorporating sustainable
ways of working.
